Miss Zoey is now 5 years old. She’s so grown up she even started kindergarten this year! So, we obviously had to do a solo photo session with her to commemorate such a big birthday milestone.

This? Well, this is Z’s idea of a good pose. And you know what? It’s my idea of a good one, too.

And this? Well, let’s just say that after a day like I’ve had today, this image of Zoey put a much-needed smile on my face.

So… what else did I do today? I attended Miss Alondra’s 2nd birthday party, of course!

A party fit for a princess, and rightfully so because when I arrived, this is how the little diva looked:

As any princess knows, after you blow out the candles on your 2nd birthday cake, you simply must touch up your makeup.

And a touch-up for her big sister was in order, as well.

All fixed up!

Then, off to re-join her party guests (makeup in tow, obviously).

Happy Birthday, Alis! I hope you enjoy every second of your 2nd year.

Seriously, just a peek from Miss Brooklynn’s session today. She fought us for a minute, but turned into a sleepy little nugget eventually!

Just wanted to share a few from last Sunday’s session with the S Family. Little Miss L was just about the most precious thing I’ve ever seen. Her eyes are so big & sparkly!

Alexa & Thomas – thanks for giving me an hour or so this morning… hopefully, you guys got to enjoy naptime afterward. Tell the kids that he house cleaning is still up for grabs!

Thankful.

That’s a pretty heavy word, you know? It really sums up a lot and it’s a word that isn’t used often enough.

But, it’s the first word that comes to mind when I see these images of precious, little Olivia.

Thankful, because when I see these images, I am reminded of how lucky I am to do what I do. And how thankful I am that even though this little princess gave us all quite the scare when she first entered the world, she is now home. She is where she belongs – with her parents and siblings who, coincidentally, are very thankful for her.

She is perfect & beautiful, Aimee & Shawn. Congratulations – and thank you for letting me capture her.
