Just a few from my session with little Landon this afternoon… because I know his mommy is anxiously awaiting this sneak peek!

More to come later, Mom!
Preserving your memories for a lifetime
Just a few from my session with little Landon this afternoon… because I know his mommy is anxiously awaiting this sneak peek!

More to come later, Mom!
I have only five (yes, FIVE) more photos left to edit from this session. And that makes me sad. Because I have to confess that Ashlee & Omar’s session has been so much fun to edit that I kind of don’t want it to be done.
So in order to prolong my happiness… (just kidding, Ashlee! I pinky swear I will finish them for you quickly) here are a few more of my faves of these two adorable cuties.

Uhh… ME & OW.

Off to finish up the rest of these two gorgeous kids… Ashlee & Omar – I hope you love them!
Just a few from my session this morning with Ashlee & Omar… two of the smiling-est (yes, it’s a word) people that I have ever had the pleasure of meeting.

Aren’t they cute?
More to come later, kids – thanks for braving the morning heat with me!
Four years ago, I went to the hospital to visit my friend Crystal who had just given birth to her baby girl. She was so tiny! And cute. And little bitty. And now?
Well, now… she’s four.

and SO smart!

and curious…

and man, oh man, does she love her mama…

Thanks for helping me test out this location, girls!
Caitlin – if you can read this (which you probably can), please give some serious thought to my request about not growing up anymore. Please?

A few more from my recent session with D3!
I’m probably ruining the reveal of the online gallery for these… but you know what? I don’t care. I’m all care-free & throwing caution to the wind. I may just post every single shot we captured from this session. But probably not.
Captain Serious Face:

I bet you think he’s serious all the time, huh?
You’re wrong. I’ll prove it.

(somethin’ tells me his daddy’s going to love that last shot…)

Beautiful, gorgeous babies just don’t happen like this. They have to get it from somewhere. I wonder where Baby D gets it? Hmmmm… I wonder…

First, I wanted to say Happy Father’s Day to all the dads out there… but especially to Mr. D (not to be confused with Miss D and Little D, as I have aptly labeled them for this blog post – man, I’m good).
Thank you guys SO much for coming out tonight! I had a great time and I hope you did, too!
This is quite literally just a peek – I haven’t even gone through your files yet, but I wanted to share a few as quickly as I could, so I pulled these out of what I’m sure will be a big bunch!
Little D with his dad… because, you know, it’s Father’s Day. And if these two shots don’t scream Father’s Day to you? Well, you should probably get your ears checked because they totally are screaming it.

…and with his gorgeous momma…

More to follow, I pinky swear!
Before I hit the sack, I just had to post a few from tonight’s session with the Y family…

More to come later!
Thanks to all 4 of you guys for coming out tonight. Sorry I screamed like a little girl when we saw that snake.
Ew.
Earlier this week, my husband and I celebrated our third year of marriage. Three entire years – which doesn’t probably sound like a lot, but I assure you that it takes a LOT to commit to someone like me for that long.
I thought that three years was a pretty good milestone until I received an email from Mama Sandy a few months ago.
Meet Mama Sanda & Pa Mike:

Say “HI!”, everyone!
These two put my little 3-year anniversary to shame. These gorgeous people have committed themselves to each other for thirty years. Yes, you read that right. Thirty years of marriage.
In one of the first emails I received asking about this session, Sandy informed me that she had, upcoming, both a birthday & an anniversary milestone and she said, “all I’ve asked for is family pictures”.
Do you want know what two people can accomplish & create when they devote their lives to each other for three decades?
This:

An insanely fun, beautiful, color-coordinated family full of people that I am BEYOND excited to add to the ranks of those who are willing to let me “shoot” them.
Sandy & Mike (and everyone else!) – thank you for choosing me to be your photographer. I can’t even express to you how much I enjoyed spending time with you for these photos.
Happy Birthday, Sandy… and Anniversary (to you both)!

SO very behind on blogging recent sessions…
I nearly missed the acceptable blogging window (which was set forth purely by my own mind which, as we all know, is sketchy at times) on getting Sarah’s promo session blogged.
This is Sarah…

And this is Sarah’s fab dress…

And this is Sarah’s precious nose-crinkle (you guys KNOW I’m a sucker for a good nose-crinkle)…

Sarah’s a Senior Representative for Rogers Heritage HS, class of 2010, and I could NOT be more excited to have her join the ranks! I have such a great group of kids for the coming school year – Sarah is no exception.

Sarah – thanks for being patient with me while I got these edited! I hope you love them and I look forward to working with you over the next year!
From time to time on this blog, you’ll see rant & rave about the maternal after-effects of a session with a cutie patootie child. Just imagine what it was like for me after this…

Yep. TWO adorable, precious little nuggets.
Mr. G & Mr. I (who also informed me that their names were Buzz & Woody) brought their mom & dad down to B’ville last week for some photos. Can I just take a little intermission here to explain how much I LOVE the way that mom coordinated their outfits? Yeah. I do.

Uhh, did you see that? Eskimo kisses? I will probably pull this image out over the next few years to remind me, as my own boy grows into a teenager, that mommies out there somewhere are still getting these. I love this.

I loved the color from this session so much that I had a really hard time even wanting to process anything in black & white! But, because I did… and because they’re so cute, you need to see this.

Way too cute.
Thanks Cara & Rick for bringing these precious little guys to hang out for awhile. I hope you love the images!
