And lashes, too.

Love that shot.
And I love these, too… almost as much as I love this little baby!

But not nearly as much as she loves her mama.

Lorri – hope that last shot works out for your desk photo.
Preserving your memories for a lifetime

Lorri – hope that last shot works out for your desk photo.
I won’t even bother with trying to put words together for this post… suffice it to say that there are MANY more images from tonight’s session and these are just a few that I hand-picked to share.
Thanks, guys! I had a blast tonight… I hope you did, too!

I haven’t even proofed the rest of this session and already, I am pretty sure this next shot is my favorite…

Meow.
This morning, I had the pleasure of hanging with Madison & her new baby brother, Jacob. They are both such angels. You’re going to have to forgive me for the overload of pictures in this sneak peek… I just couldn’t narrow it down! There are lots more to come, Mom & Dad.
Thanks for sharing the morning with me!

(this next one is my favorite… so far)

Not to be outdone by her little brother, Miss Madison definitely brought out her inner model today. Just see for yourself (this first pose was 100% her idea)…

Congratulations on the newest addition to your family, I can’t wait to watch him grow!!
Because I couldn’t wait to flip through the shots from Charli’s mini-session tonight, I wanted to share just a few before I go all nose-to-the-grindstone working on getting caught up with editing the rest of your sessions!
I have been photo’ing Charli since before she even took her first breath and I simply can’t believe how sweet she is. Just look – the sweetness just oozes out of her!

More to come later, but I couldn’t resist posting this peek for mom (Hi, Lorri!)…
Couldn’t resist posting more of this session… and because I’m insane and wild (ha.) I decided to go black & white with this post. Well, mostly… Kat, these are for you.

Faaaavorite!

Ahh. That makes me happy.
And now for something else a little different… because I can’t resist a post without at least a little color.

(and a little… ok, a lot of texture)
You may remember about a week ago, I posted some photos of Cassie’s adorable little brother, Mr. R. I promised then that there would be more to come of him on the blog and I’m here to deliver!

and last, but certainly not least… my personal fave.

Ahh. That one makes me happy.
This weekend was spent out of town with a big bunch of my absolute favorite people. Just a few snaps… because I couldn’t wait to share some.
I love you guys!!

this one melts my heart…

More to come from the weekend in upcoming posts… but because I also can’t wait to share some from the other session I had today, here are a few of new arrival, baby Kestyn!

Met up with Miss Cassie this past weekend during some amazing 70-degree weather (which now seems odd considering the sleet/snow today). Her requirement? Water. My requirement? Cassie. Here’s a few of the snaps from our day…

Just a few days prior to our session, Cassie and some of her classmates won a competition… it’s a big deal. She is very proud of her medal and brought it along for the photos!

Way to go, Cassie!
Another thing she brought along was her little brother, Mr. R! I’ll be posting more of him later because he was just so darn cute! I think it’s super special that Cassie wanted to include him in some of her senior photos… she’s a great big sister.

Some of you may have seen these two cuties on my blog before… but I’ll be willing to bet you approximately $4.2 billion that you’ve never seen the little one as happy as she was when we shot these yesterday. I feel safe making that bet because I have first-hand knowledge of the fact that I have tried for the better part of the last year to get this baby to love me. She didn’t.
Exhibit A:

Exhibit B:

But yesterday… we finally had a breakthrough.
I can’t even put the words together to tell you all how excited I am to share these photos with everyone, but especially with their mom & dad (who are 2 of my most favorite people!) – Kat & Mike, these are 2 gorgeous little firecrackers you’ve got. Thanks for letting me hang with them!

Dear Baby Madison,
It was so good to see you today! I remember just a few short months ago when I met you for the first time and you were so very tiny…

Do you remember? I sure do.
You’re still tiny, a petite little thing… but you have grown so much since I saw you last! Just look at how big you are now…

You are such a cutie – so alert & your big blue eyes are so gorgeous.

I also like the fact that you know how to call the Hogs… you’re so smart!

Oh, and thanks for letting me put the bunny hat on you.
You are so cute in it!

I know your mommy will want to see the rest of the photos we took today… tell her I will get them done for her very soon! I hope these will be enough to tide her over for a little bit, though.
See you soon,
Melissa
p.s. Tell your Mom & Dad that this one is my favorite so far…
